The Parkland REDI area has four public airports located in the region. Bismarck Memorial Airport is located in Bismarck, MO in the southwest part of St. Francois County. It features a 2050 x 50 foot asphalt runway. Farmington Regional Airport is located in Farmington, MO and is the largest of the airports inside the four county region. It features a 4222 x 75 foot concrete runway and terminal facilities. A. Paul Vance Fredericktown Regional Airport is located three miles north of Fredericktown in Madison County. It features a 4000 x 75 foot asphalt runway. Viburnum Airport is located in the mining community in the western part of Iron County. It features a 3194 x 47 foot asphalt runway. The Parkland REDI area is also conveniently located near two airports with regular commercial flights.Cape Girardeau Regional Airport is located less than 60 miles from Fredericktown, MO and offers daily commuter flights to and from Chicago O’Hare Airport. Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is also less than a hour and a half from Farmington, allowing quick and easy access to all major commercial carriers.
